Harvard Developments and Harvard Property Management are proud to have been named one of Saskatchewan’s Top Employers for 2018. The announcement, made on January 24th, was part of an editorial competition organized by the ‘Canada’s Top 100 Employers’ initiative, which has been recognizing the country’s leading businesses for the last 15 years. First published in 2006, Saskatchewan's Top Employers is an annual competition that recognizes Saskatchewan companies that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.
As part of the regional competition, Harvard was compared with other organizations in Saskatchewan to determine who offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs based on the following criteria:
This great honour means that applicants are eager to work for the company, that the culture and environment are geared toward developing employees’ long-term growth, and that the most talented workers stay with the company throughout their careers.
Harvard is known on both a national and international scale, dealing in various real estate markets with an exceptional record of performance. Such diversity means ample opportunity for new employees to join a team where a career can be built and nurtured over time. With 159 full-time staff in Canada, Harvard is proud to provide employees with a challenging work environment encouraging professional growth, innovative thinking and collaborative work. “It’s a great honour to be recognized for our culture,” says Hiedi Pearson, Manager of Employee Services with Harvard “one that enables our employees to contribute to our company through individual and team effort, as well as one they can continuously learn and grow in.”
Aside from attracting new employees, this recognition brings many other advantages to the company. One of the greatest benefits of being a Top Employer is giving affirmation to existing employees and ensuring that the path they are on is the right one. It is also a testament to a work environment that it is sought after by thousands of applicants each year. “Harvard is full of dedicated, highly-skilled professionals that continuously give their best each and every day while contributing to the success of our province,” says Hiedi.
