After graduating from Georgetown University (BSBA ’67), Washington, DC and the Richard Ivey School of Business program (MBA ’69) and gaining significant experience in the investment banking industry for approximately eight years, Paul J. Hill is the third generation in the Hill family to lead The Hill Companies. His leadership and strategic direction serves as a catalyst to diversify The Hill Companies and the employment base of the province. He was the driving force in structuring the 1991 transaction that led to obtaining the controlling interest in Crown Life and relocating its head office from Toronto to Regina. He subsequently became its Chairman. The Hill Companies now operate in the areas of real estate, insurance, broadcasting, oil and gas, manufacturing and technology. Paul’s extensive network within the North American business community facilitates his ability to aggressively seek out unique business opportunities.

He has served on the boards of the Investment Dealers Association, Canada Trust Bank, North Canadian Oils, Shopping.com, Government House Foundation, US Forest Products Inc. and as Chairman of Boardwalk Real Estate Investment Trust as well as several other Canadian and US corporations. He is actively involved in public policy through his board participation with The CD Howe Institute, The Fraser Institute, The Conference Board of Canada, and The Canadian Council of Chief Executives. He also serves on the advisory board of the Georgetown University Robert Emmett McDonough School of Business (Washington, DC, USA), The Woodrow Wilson Institute (Washington, DC, USA), the Richard Ivey School of Business (London, ON, CAN) and the University of Regina Paul J. Hill School of Business (Regina, SK, CAN). He established the Hill- Ivey Scholarships as well as the Business Ethics Scholarships and the scholarships for the Catholic Studies program at Campion College (Regina, SK, CAN). He served on the board of the Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club. Paul is a founding board member of the Asia Pacific Foundation, which focuses on the importance of Canada’s cultural and commercial relationships with China and other Asia Pacific countries and he serves on the Canada China Business Council. He is also a board member of the Canada Arizona Business Council and is the current chairman of the board for the Harvard Companies, Western Surety and UFR Urban Forest Recyclers Inc.(Brook, Indiana).

In 2011 and 2012, Paul was awarded with an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Regina and also the University of Western Ontario, in recognition of the positive impact his leadership has made throughout Canada. In 2010, he was entrusted as a Knight of St. Sylvester by Pope Benedict XVI in acknowledgment of his charitable work. He has also received the Canada 125 Medal, the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal and the Order of Canada (2015) - which is one of the country's highest civilian honours that recognizes outstanding achievement and service to the nation. Paul and Carol Hill also received the Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year from the Association of Fundraising Professionals.  Most recently, Paul established the Mother Teresa Middle School of Regina (focused on under privileged children in grades 6, 7 & 8) which is Canada’s first Jesuit fostered academy. Paul also founded ‘One Life Makes a Difference’, a charitable foundation that focuses on assisting disadvantaged youth.

Mo Bundon is results oriented and customer driven. Over the past 30 years, he has developed a team that is responsive to the ever-changing dynamics of real estate. Together, they have overseen the development and leasing of major office towers, retail projects, industrial land and residential land in Saskatchewan and Alberta. While Mo’s passion continues to be real estate, as the Senior Vice President and COO of Harvard Developments Inc., his leadership and strategic direction are instrumental in continuing The Hill Companies tradition of prosperity.

After earning a BA in Broadcast Journalism from Gonzaga University and an MBA from the University of Manitoba in 1990, Rosanne’s career unfolded with experience in a variety of disciplines including broadcasting/marketing, commercial banking and investment management. 
 
In 1997, Rosanne represented the fourth generation of the Hill’s to join the family business. Today, she is the driving force behind Harvard’s leasing team, while also assuming the broader responsibility of overseeing The Hill Companies’ owned and co-owned Western Canadian commercial office portfolio. She is also accountable for the asset management of Harvard retail properties which have completed the construction phase and has primary responsibility for marketing and corporate communications.
 
As the Managing Director of Harvard Buildings Inc., Rosanne spearheaded the development of the 240,000 sq.ft. Mosaic Tower office building (Regina, SK), managed the 250,000 sq.ft. redevelopment of Normanview Crossing (Regina, SK) and has successfully completed the development of the 160,000 sq.ft. Agriculture Place in 2016 (Regina, SK).  Future projects include the 2.5 million sq.ft. redevelopment of Eau Claire (Calgary, AB) and the redevelopment of Lakeshore Mall in Regina, SK.
 
Rosanne’s community and business involvement includes: past co- chair of The City of Regina’s 100th anniversary celebration, past member of the YWCA capital campaign board, past member of the Board of Regina Regional Economic Development Authority, and past member of the Construction and Land Development Sector Team for the Government of Saskatchewan. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the TSX listed Temple Hotels Inc. (formerly Temple REIT), the SaskPower Business Advisory Board and St. Mary’s University College Board of Governors. Rosanne is a member of NAIOP, the Regina Chamber of Commerce, The International Women’s Forum and The International Council of Shopping Centres.

Leading an exceptional multi-disciplinary team, Steve is accountable for the total enterprise performance of Harvard Property Management Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Harvard Developments Inc.  The company manages 6.5 million square feet of primarily Class A office and retail properties across Western Canada, valued at over $1B.  Property management’s objective is the preservation of this value on behalf of Harvard, its real estate partners and 3rd party investors.

The company’s motto, Service is our Finest Property; reflects Steve’s belief that “real estate is about people, rather than bricks ‘n mortar”.  Providing an exceptional customer experience for tenants and delivering service excellence for clients is paramount for Steve, and the entire property management team.

Steve has organized Harvard’s real estate management activities for over 25 years.  He is the licensed broker for Harvard Property Management Inc. in Saskatchewan.

After five successful years leading Harvard Western Insurance, Dave joined the senior management team of Harvard Developments in 2014. Today, Dave is responsible for formulating strategic plans for future growth, overseeing Information Technology, community relations and working alongside his colleagues to understand and improve the real estate business . In addition, Dave continues to serve as President and CEO of Harvard Western Insurance, a general insurance brokerage joint venture between Harvard Developments and Western Financial Group.

Prior to joining Harvard, Dave spent 20 years with IBM Canada in a variety of management, sales and technical roles. Dave is a proven community leader and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Conexus Arts Centre. His past community leadership roles include Chair of the 101st Grey Cup Festival Committee, as well as leadership roles on the Boards of SaskSport, Mackenzie Art Gallery, 2010 World Junior Hockey Championships, United Way of Regina and other non-profit organizations. 

Dave is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and received his Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation in 2010.

James joined Harvard Developments Inc. in 2010 as General Counsel.  Prior to joining Harvard, James was a partner and led the real estate team in the Regina office of MacPherson Leslie & Tyerman LLP.

James is responsible for the legal functions of Harvard, including the negotiation of commercial agreements, completion of financing transactions, acquisitions and development related matters.   In this role, James provides strategic, business-focused advice to Harvard and its affiliated companies and is actively involved in all aspects of the development of Harvard’s real property assets. 

James takes a practical approach to legal issues in order to best achieve the business objectives of Harvard. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and convocated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1995.

Tina has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry and has been at Harvard for 16 of those years.  In 2004, she was appointed to Vice President Investments with Harvard Developments Inc. – A Hill Company.   Tina provides strategic expertise, governance oversight and leadership to mergers and acquisitions and operations of The Hill Companies’ diverse interests in broadcasting, manufacturing, insurance and real estate sectors.

Tina is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) and holds her Canadian Securities Certificate and the Institute of Corporate Directors’ Designation. Tina is a member of the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Saskatchewan, and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Ms. Svedahl currently serves as Chair of Regina’s Globe Theatre Board and is a member of the board of Harvard Western Insurance and the One Life Makes a Difference Foundation. In addition, she is a past member of The Executive Committee (TEC) and the Regina Regional Economic Development Authority (RREDA) Future Leaders Group.

As General Manager of Development for Harvard Developments, Darryl is responsible for overseeing the implementation of Harvard's commercial real estate development projects, including leasing/sales, design, construction, financing, and accounting.  In addition, Darryl is responsible for managing Harvard's investments in various residential development projects.
 
Joining Harvard in 1990, Darryl has gained over 25 years of invaluable experience in various roles throughout the company which has made him a respected and knowledgeable source within the industry. Over his career, Darryl has been involved with the successful development of over 5.4 million square feet of major Class A office tower and retail shopping centre properties. His broad range of skills and experience allow him to engage in multi-faceted roles including the day-to-day advising of the Development team and working closely with the Property Management division of Harvard.
 
Darryl earned his Bachelor of Administration degree from the University of Regina and holds a CPA-CMA professional designation.

Harvard Developments Inc.

Chad manages residential land development for Harvard Developments Inc. in Alberta and Saskatchewan and is responsible for the acquisition of raw land, municipal approvals, urban planning, engineering, servicing, marketing and sales.  Most recently, he leads the development of Harvard’s Westerra community - a 490 acre mixed-use, complete community that was the first neighbourhood approved in accordance with Regina’s new official community plan - Design Regina.

Beginning his career with Harvard in 2007, he worked in Harvard’s property management group and managed a portfolio of office, suburban office and retail properties before shifting to Harvard’s land division.

Chad sits on the board of directors for the Canadian Home Builders’ Association and is the president-elect for the Regina & Region Home Builders’ Association. He also volunteers with numerous community organizations such as the Regina Rowing Club and Cathedral Village Arts Festival. 

Chad holds a bachelor of science from Trent University in Peterborough, ON and an MBA from the Seidman School of Business in Grand Rapids, MI.

Terry provides strategic leadership and direction for various financial areas of The Hill Companies, including corporate finance, financial reporting, budgeting and cash flow projections, tax compliance, and tax planning. He also plays a key role in strategic governance and risk management. He leads a team of dedicated professionals that are committed to delivering high quality financial services that are critical to the success of The Hill Companies, its clients and business partners.

Terry graduated with distinction from the University of Regina in 1979 with a Bachelor of Administration degree. He then articled for his Chartered Accountancy with Clarkson Gordon (now Ernst & Young) and achieved his designation in 1981. He joined The Hill Companies in 1983 and since that time he has held numerous positions including Accountant, Controller - Corporate Accounting and Taxation, Corporate Controller and his present position.

Terry serves on the board of the Madonna Foundation and the Father Murray Foundation and he is currently a member of the Tax Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Saskatchewan. He is a former board member of the Mackenzie Art Gallery and was a senior member of the organizing committee for the 2005 Canada Summer Games held in Regina, SK.

Manager of Human Resources and Employee Services

Hiedi’s focus is pursuing Harvard’s mission of providing a rewarding work environment which fosters innovation, continuous improvement and opportunity, while respecting and promoting individual and family values. Being with the company for the past 18 years, Hiedi has gained a thorough understanding of the business and the culture of Harvard.

Under Hiedi’s leadership, the YES Team or Your Employee Service Team provides internal services to the employees of The Hill Companies. These services include human resources, payroll, office administrative support, marketing and business communications.

Hiedi is a graduate of the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Arts and Certificate in Administration and is a member of the Saskatchewan Association of Human Resource Professionals.She currently sits on the board of directors of Regina Palliative Care Inc.and Greystone Bereavement Centre, as well as Access Communications Co-operative Ltd. Hiedi was a member of the Host Organizing Committee of the 101st Grey Cup Festival.
